All mercenaries now have auras that they activate during combat. There is no cap at which you can hire mercs (i.e merc level) at any difficulty anymore.

Act 1 Edit

Poise (Rogue mercenaries only): Edit

  • Increased Attack Rating %: 50 + 4*slvl
  • Deadly Strike %: 5 + 1*slvl
  • Increased Attack Speed %: 5 + 1*slvl


Act 2
Edit

  • Normal
    • Combat -> Cleansing Aura
    • Defense -> Defiance Aura
    • Offense -> Vulnerability Aura (Reduces target Magic and Physical Resistances by (15 + 2*(SLVL-1))%)
  • Nightmare
    • Combat -> Thorns Aura
    • Defense -> Holy Freeze Aura
    • Offense -> Might Aura
  • Hell
    • Combat -> Cleansing Aura
    • Defense -> Defiance Aura
    • Offense -> Vulnerability Aura

Act 3 Edit

Inner Fire, Inner Frost, Inner Charge (Iron Wolf mercenaries only): Edit

  • The aura element depends on which element mercenary is chosen.
  • Elemental Pierce %: 15 + 2*slvl

Act 5 Edit

Rampage (Barbarian mercenaries only): Edit

  • Enhanced damage %: 50 + 10*slvl
  • Enhanced defense %: 50 + 10*slvl

Please note, Increased Attack Rate and Increased Attack Speed are very different (the former is akin to the Frenzy/Fanaticism bonus, the latter the same as IAS on items).
